These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website located at coronadofenceanddeck.com and your engagement with Coronado Fence & Deck ("we," "us," or "our") for any services. By accessing this website or requesting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or engage our services.
By using this website or contacting Coronado Fence & Deck about a project, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal authority to enter into agreements, and agree to these Terms in full. These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and anyone who requests or receives services from us.
Coronado Fence & Deck is a deck and fence contractor based in Coronado, CA. We provide design, construction, installation, repair, and related outdoor improvement services to residential property owners. The specific scope of services for any individual project is defined in a written proposal or contract provided before work begins.
Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer or guarantee of service. Service availability is subject to scheduling, permit requirements, and project feasibility.
Estimates provided by Coronado Fence & Deck - whether given verbally, in writing, or through this website - are not binding quotes until confirmed in a signed written contract. Estimates are based on information available at the time they are prepared and may change if the scope of work changes, site conditions differ from what was described, or material costs change significantly before the project begins.
Any estimate provided is valid for 30 days from the date it is issued unless otherwise stated in writing. After 30 days, pricing may be subject to revision.
No work will begin without a signed written agreement. Any changes to scope after a contract is signed must be agreed to in writing by both parties before additional work proceeds.
Project start dates are estimates and may be affected by permit processing times, weather, material availability, or other factors outside our control. We will communicate schedule changes as promptly as possible.
If you need to cancel or postpone a scheduled project, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation terms, including any deposit or material restocking obligations, will be specified in your written contract. Generally:
We reserve the right to cancel or postpone a project if site conditions, permit issues, or other factors make it impractical to proceed as planned. In that case, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule or adjust the scope.
Payment terms for each project are specified in the written contract. Typical terms include a deposit at contract signing, progress payments tied to defined milestones, and a final payment upon project completion and customer acceptance.
Payment is due on the dates specified in the contract. Payments not received within 10 days of the due date may incur a late fee as specified in the contract. If payment is significantly overdue, we reserve the right to suspend work until the account is current.
All pricing is in U.S. dollars. We accept payment methods as specified in your contract. We do not accept payment contingent on the sale of a property or approval of a loan unless agreed to in writing in advance.
Where required by local ordinance, Coronado Fence & Deck will obtain the necessary building permits for your project. Permit fees are the responsibility of the customer and will be itemized in the project estimate. We will not knowingly perform work that violates applicable building codes, zoning rules, or homeowners association requirements.
If you request work that does not include permit procurement, you acknowledge that proceeding without a required permit is your decision and that you assume all risk associated with unpermitted construction, including but not limited to fines, required demolition, and complications at the time of property sale.
We stand behind our workmanship. The specific warranty terms for any project - including duration and coverage - will be stated in your written contract. In general, our workmanship warranty covers defects in construction that result from our work, not from normal wear, weather, customer modifications, or conditions beyond our control.
Materials and products installed by Coronado Fence & Deck may carry separate manufacturer warranties. We will provide you with applicable manufacturer warranty documentation at project completion.
Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to the contact information in Section 11 below. We will inspect reported issues and respond within a reasonable time. Warranty coverage does not extend to damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or events outside our control such as floods, fires, or earthquakes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Coronado Fence & Deck and its owners, employees, and subcontractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from or related to our services or the use of this website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability for any claim related to a specific project will not exceed the total amount paid by you for that project.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

If you have a dispute with us, please contact us first using the information in Section 11. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing litigation. Mediation will be conducted in Coronado, CA by a mutually agreed-upon neutral mediator. The cost of mediation will be shared equally.
If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in San Diego County, California. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any legal action arising from these Terms or from services provided by Coronado Fence & Deck will be brought in the courts of San Diego County, California.
